Arrival & Settling-in

Airport meet and greet, housing search, international school placement, drivers, utilities, banking, orientation and cultural briefing.

Before arrival

  • Pre-arrival briefing on documents, customs and what to expect at the airport.
  • Housing shortlist matched to budget, security posture and commute.
  • School places identified and applications opened for accompanying children.
  • Airport meet and greet, immigration assistance and onward transfer arranged.

The first weeks

We handle the practical steps that consume an assignee's first month: residency formalities, mobile and internet connections, utilities and municipal registration, opening a local bank account, a vetted driver, and registration with a medical provider we have checked ourselves.

Orientation and cultural briefing

New arrivals receive a working briefing on local etiquette, the working week and holiday calendar, dress and conduct expectations, cash and payments, and how to move around the city sensibly. Family members are briefed separately where that is useful.
