Immigration & Permits
Entry visas, work permits, residency cards, renewals, dependants and exit clearances across Federal Iraq and the KRI.
What we handle
- Entry visas and visa-on-arrival eligibility checks for Federal Iraq and the KRI.
- Work permits and Ministry of Labour approvals, including quota and classification issues.
- Residency cards for employees, dependants and long-stay individuals.
- Renewals, transfers between employers, and re-entry after an expired stay.
- Exit clearances, overstay resolution and departure formalities.
How the process runs
We confirm eligibility and the correct pathway before anything is filed, collect and check the document set, arrange translation and legalisation where needed, then file and follow the application with the relevant directorate in person. You receive a status update on a fixed cadence and are told immediately if a document or timetable changes.
What we need from you
- Passport copies valid for the required period, plus photographs to the current specification.
- Employment contract or assignment letter, and the sponsoring entity's registration documents.
- Educational or professional certificates where the permit category requires them, legalised for use in Iraq.
- Medical test results where the destination jurisdiction requires them.
Typical timetables
Straightforward work permit and residency files usually complete within a few weeks once a complete document set is in hand; the KRI and Federal Iraq run different procedures and timetables. Missing legalisation abroad is the most common cause of delay, which is why we check the set before filing rather than after.
